 The highlights of the meeting included three new meeting records in the mens and womens sprints, with Britain’s Mark Findlay running 10.26 for the 100m, whilst Antonette Carter USA scored a sprint double in the womens 100m and 200m new meet bests 11.45 and 23.22.
Great weather made for some other excellent track performances, Ferdana Blakeky USA running 45.64 for a 400m meet record, and Ireland’s Michelle Carey running on her home track clocking 56.31 in the women’s 400 hurdles.
Nederland’s Gregory Sedoc and Belgum’s Kristof Beyens enjoyed their trip over to England achieveing European Champinship qualify marks in winning the 110H [13.61] and 200m [20.62] respectively.
The one new meet record in the field events came in the women’s Long Jump where Lucie Komskrova CZE jumped out to 6.37m |
